Unreachable un less by boat at high tides but during the lower tides you can walk across the causeway
Taken on a balmy summers night.
This was my first visit to the Castle and I was impressed by how outstandingly well preserved it is.
Standing tall above the dunes and the town its an impressive structure for sure.
I have presented it here in a marvellously rich monochrome. I feel this brings out the best in this long exposure image with the clouds of an impending storm gathering above the castle.

St Michaels Mount
St Micheals Mount sitting in Mounts Bay Cornwall dominates the landscape. A tidal island connected to the mainland by a natural causeway which has been strehgthened by a cobbled path. Shown here in a panoram format the image is made up from 2, 63 second exposure images stitched together. the day was rather misty and the headland in the distance is partially obscured. The village in the distance is Mousehole another well know tourist destination.
