The Old Man of Storr

A visit to Skye is not complete or even at its start unless a visit to the Storr is included. This was shot in 20-35 mph winds. The tripod had to be held down to stop it blowing off the ridge. With an exposure of 2 mins it was no mean feat to hold it steady for so long. The result is this ethereal look at the Storr whilst the Sun was rising behind.
